7 years agoOakland Raiders place kicker Eddy Pineiro (groin) tweaked his groin and didn't play in the preseason game on Saturday against the Rams, according to head coach Jon Gruden. Pineiro is battling with veteran Mike Nugent for the kicking duties in training camp. Pineiro's injury isn't good, but as long as it doesn't keep him out too long he should be able to win the job heading into Week 1. The Raiders offense should improve in 2018, but whoever wins this job should be left to the waiver wire to begin the year in standard-sized leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
