2 years agoFree-agent kicker Eddy Pineiro will make a stop in Carolina for a visit. After Zane Gonzalez (groin) was carted off the field during the preseason matchup against Buffalo, there's a realistic chance he won't play this year. As a result, the team has some big shoes to fill heading into the regular season. Pineiro, who was recently cut by the Jets, has nailed 31 of his 36 field goal attempts throughout his career, including going a perfect 3-for-3 from beyond 50 yards.
