3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals shortstop Edmundo Sosa is batting fifth and playing shortstop Wednesday versus White Sox lefty Carlos Rodon. The 25-year-old has been on fire batting near the bottom of the Cardinals' order and now will get his chance to bat behind Nolan Arenado. Sosa is riding a seven-game hit streak during which he is batting .522 with a .739 slugging percentage. Rodon is a tough matchup, but Sosa is hot and will at least have the platoon advantage making him a startable shortstop in fantasy.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
