Eduardo Escobar Absent From Saturday's Lineup
3 years agoNew York Mets infielder Eduardo Escobar is not in Saturday's starting lineup to take on the Washington Nationals, according to MLB.com. He's been hot at the plate in his first couple of games, hitting .286 with a 1.071 OPS. It'll be Luis Guillorme playing third base and batting eighth instead. The 27-year-old has a knack for getting on base, slashing .265/.374/.311 last season, and has a career OBP of .354. However, he has almost no power, slugging just two home runs in 180 career games. For fantasy managers in OBP leagues, streaming Guillorme isn't a bad idea, especially against the Nationals Joan Adon, a 23-year-old with little experience in the major leagues.
