Eduardo Escobar Continues To Slump
6 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Eduardo Escobar continued his slump on Tuesday night in his team's 2-0 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers. Escobar went 0-for-2 with two walks and two strikeouts in the game. The veteran was in the midst of putting together a career season but has just four hits in his past 13 contests. In total, Escobar is slashing .274/.333/.522 with 12 homers, 34 doubles, 38 runs, and 49 RBI on the season. As an impending free agent, Escobar is a likely candidate to be traded ahead of the non-waiver trade deadline at the end of July. He's worth holding onto in fantasy for now but hopefully you have a backup option in case he continues to struggle.
