4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks third baseman Eduardo Escobar had a monster day at the plate on Saturday, going 3-for-5 with two home runs, seven RBI and three runs scored in an 11-4 win over the Nationals. It was a big day for Escobar, who had gone ice cold in the month of May by slashing .087/.125/.109 with 15 strikeouts in 13 games. While not ideal, his Statcast metrics do suggest some room for improvement as Escobar sports a .237 xBA and .470 xSLG this season. Managers will hope that Saturday's game can be the jumpstart he needs to become a solid fantasy player once again.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
