Eduardo Escobar In A Power Slump
3 years agoNew York Mets third baseman Eduardo Escobar went 1-for-4 against the Atlanta Braves in the 5-4 victory on Tuesday. His hit was an RBI single in the first inning. Escobar currently doesn't have an extra-base hit in his past five games, and his only home run of the season came on April 21. The 33-year-old is slashing .250/.359/.398 with 12 runs and six RBI across 24 games. Escobar should be able to find the power stroke that lead to 28 HRs in 2021, so fantasy managers looking for home runs should hang on to him and expect another season with 20-plus round-trippers.
