6 years agoBoston Red Sox utility man Eduardo Nunez came up with a two-run double in the fifth inning to blow Thursday's game against the Cleveland Indians wide open. Nunez was 1-for-4 on the day with a strikeout. It has been a highly disappointing season from a fantasy perspective for the 31-year-old. After three straight years with a batting average over .300, Nunez is only carrying a .257 average with seven homers and 38 RBI this season. He has also found himself relegated to the bench on occasion due to the depth of the Red Sox lineup. He still has some fantasy value, mainly due to the team he plays on, but he really should not be rostered in any leagues with 10 teams or less.
