7 years agoBoston Red Sox infielder Eduardo Nunez has a leg up on third baseman Rafael Devers at the hot corner right now. Nunez started on Friday, Devers will start on Saturday and Nunez will be back there on Sunday, according to manager Alex Cora. “Eduardo has been playing well,” the manager said. “I know the last however, he hasn’t had too much success as far as the numbers, but he’s hitting the ball solid. He’s playing good defense.” It appears the Red Sox are going with the hot hand for now. Devers recently came off the disabled list and has hit .245/.344/.396 with two homers and seven RBI since the All-Star break.
