4 years agoNew York Mets infielder Eduardo Nunez (knee) has been placed on the injured list with a left knee contusion. Nunez suffered the injury on Sunday attempting to beat out an infield single. Nunez has been serving as a bench player for the Mets and even when he is healthy should be left on the waiver wire. The Mets have promoted second baseman Brian Dozier to take his spot on the roster.
