Eduardo Rodriguez Allows One Hit Friday
3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez came through in a big way Friday, allowing just one hit and two walks in six innings against the Oakland Athletics. He struck out six batters. This outing should come as great encouragement to fantasy managers who have seen Rodriguez record three consecutive quality starts after going without one since April 25. For the season, Rodriguez now has a 5.42 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and 99 strikeouts in 84 2/3 innings. It seems like better days should be coming going forward.
