5 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez went six innings, while allowing five runs on 10 hits, to go with five strikeouts and three walks in Monday's 6-5 loss to Cleveland. Home runs in the first and third innings spelled trouble for Rodriguez, but he didn't any other runs to cross in the outing. It's been a weird year or the southpaw, as his earned run average hasn't been below three once this season, but yet he sits at 13-5 across 25 starts. Over 146 1/3 innings, he has just 145 strikeouts and a 1.37 WHIP. He'll get the ball at home against the Orioles on Sunday, which should prove to be a favorable matchup for Rodriguez.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
