7 years agoBoston Red Sox left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez (knee) threw a 45-pitch bullpen Saturday, according to Christopher Smith of MassLive.com. "We're very happy with his progression," manager Alex Cora said. On Wednesday, Rodriguez was able to throw off the mound for the first time. It included 35 pitches mixed with fastballs and changeups. The next step will be live batting practice. Rodriguez is progressing smoothly and it will not be long before we see him back on the mound in live action.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
