Eduardo Rodriguez Has Another Solid Outing
4 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez navigated through seven baserunners to allow just one run in five innings in the Red Sox's 7-1 win over the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday. Like his first start of the season, Rodriguez wasn't at his absolute sharpest, but he finished strong, retiring the last six batters he faced. Given that he hadn't pitched since 2019, it was expected that Rodriguez would take a while to be his old self, but these first two starts are more than encouraging. Expect Rodriguez to keep improving as the season goes along, if he can stay healthy.
