Eduardo Rodriguez Has Strong Season Debut
4 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez looked sharp in his season debut on Thursday, striking out seven and walking none over five innings of three-run ball. This was Rodriguez's first start since the 2019 season, as he missed the entire 2020 season with complications stemming from a COVID-19 case. Rodriguez missed his first start of the season with what was described as a "dead arm," but his velocity on Thursday was right in line with his 2019 average. Rodriguez wasn't perfect, as two of his mistakes were hit out for home runs, but fantasy managers should be encouraged by what they saw.
