Eduardo Rodriguez Plays Catch On Friday
6 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez (ankle) was able to play catch prior to the team's game on Friday. Rodriguez is attempting to work his way back from a serious ankle injury. While he has yet to throw off of a mound, there's a chance he could throw a bullpen session in the coming weeks with a doctor's clearance. Rodriguez has pitched to an 11-3 record with a 3.44 ERA and a 110/32 K/BB ratio this season. There's no timetable for his return, however, Rodriguez will be a big boost to both the Red Sox and fantasy owners when he is fully healthy.
