Eduardo Rodriguez Sharp In Thursday's Rehab Start
2 years agoDetroit Tigers pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez (personal) allowed one hit and one walk while striking out six across five scoreless innings during Thursday's rehab outing with Triple-A Toledo. The southpaw threw 53 pitches, landing 39 for strikes. He had been on the restricted list while dealing with a personal matter since mid-June. The 29-year-old has been limited to eight starts, posting a 1-3 record, 4.38 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, and 34:17 K: BB ratio over 39 innings. Rodriguez is expected to make one or two rehab starts before rejoining Detroit's rotation in late August.
