3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez turned in his second effective start Tuesday, allowing two runs on four hits and one walk to the Tampa Bay Rays in 5 1/3 innings. He struck out eight batters. The biggest upside for Rodriguez is his strikeout rate, as he's whiffed 139 batters in 110 innings this season, but he has not turned in a quality start since July 2, and his ERA and WHIP for the year are 5.24 and 1.38. Fantasy managers should hold him on rosters, but he's not a lock for lineups.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
