6 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez lasted just 5 2/3 innings, surrendering four runs, on seven hits, while striking out seven, and walking two in a 6-1 loss to Tampa Bay Sunday. The southpaw allowed a pair of solo home runs during the outing, increasing his season total to 10 allowed in 13 starts. Opposing Blake Snell, Rodriguez didn't get much help offensively, so it was overall a tough day for the Red Sox. He'll carry a 6-4 record, with a 5.00 ERA, and an 80:22 K:BB into a Friday start at Fenway against the Orioles. The 26-year-old has some strikeout potential, but his struggle keeping the ball in the park hurts his longevity in outings, making him a higher risk option in most starts.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
