Eduardo Rodriguez Undone By Bloops And Blasts Wednesday
3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez closed out his first half Wednesday, and it did not go as well as he would have liked. He allowed four runs on nine hits and no walks to the Los Angeles Angels in five innings while striking out five. Much of the damage early came on bloop hits, but he did yield two home runs later in the contest that ended his outing. For the first half, Rodriguez registered a 6-5 record with a 5.52 ERA, 1.37 WHIP, and 104 strikeouts in 89 2/3 innings. As wary as some fantasy managers might be, now could be an ideal time to buy low.
