3 years agoMiami Marlins rookie starting pitcher Edward Cabrera was efficient in his major league debut on Wednesday against the Washington Nationals. Cabrera made it through six scoreless innings before running into trouble in the seventh inning. His final line ended up being 6 1/3 innings pitched, three runs allowed on four hits and three walks with two strikeouts. He allowed two home runs in the seventh followed by a walk that came around to score after he'd left the game. It was still a solid debut for the rookie, who ended up with a quality start but no decision. He should stick in the Marlins rotation for the rest of the season and is worth consideration in all formats.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
