3 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Edward Olivares was optioned to Triple-A Omaha on Thursday, according to Lynn Worthy of the Kansas City Star. Olivares has spent this season bouncing back and forth between Omaha and Kansas City, as he is slashing .261/.292/.261 with one steal and three runs scored for the Royals, while slashing .370/.452/.610 with six homers, eight steals, 18 RBI and 24 runs scored over 24 games at Triple-A. If he can get a shot at regular playing time, Olivares has a nice power-speed combo that fantasy managers will love. But for now, his only value is in dynasty formats.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
