3 years agoNew York Mets relief pitcher Edwin Diaz was activated from the paternity list on Friday, according to Tim Britton of The Athletic. To make room, the Mets optioned relief pitcher Jake Reed to Triple-A Syracuse. Diaz left the team to be present for the birth of his child on Wednesday, and now he's back to continue as the team's closer. Managers should make sure to slot Diaz back into their starting lineups for tonight.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
