3 years agoNew York Mets relief pitcher Edwin Diaz picked up his 19th save of the season in dominant fashion on Saturday night against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Called on to preserve the Mets 4-2 lead in the seventh inning of the second game of a doubleheader, Diaz needed just 10 pitches to strike out the side. Diaz has now converted 19-of-20 save opportunities and owns a 2.86 ERA, a 1.07 WHIP, and 48 strikeouts over 34 2/3 innings pitched. As one of the best relievers in baseball, Diaz should remain active in all fantasy formats.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
