3 years agoNew York Mets relief pitcher Edwin Diaz was in dominant form in the second half of Monday's doubleheader against the Atlanta Braves, setting down all three batters he faced via the strikeout to secure his 22nd save of the season. Diaz has now posted three consecutive scoreless outings, during which he has struck out seven batters and allowed just one baserunner in the form of a walk. He's bound to have his blowups, but Diaz is still about as good a closer as a fantasy manager can hope to have.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
