Edwin Encarnacion Doubles Twice In Game 1
5 years agoNew York Yankees designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored Friday night against the Twins. Encarnacion finished the regular season on a five-game hitting streak and picked up right where he left off doubling in his first two at-bats vs Twins starter Jose Berrios. Encarnacion is swinging a hot bat and seems to enjoy hitting in New York. He had a 50.6 percent fly-ball rate in 2019 so he's as likely as anyone to hit a home run on Saturday's DFS slate when he'll face his former teammate Jake Odorizzi.
