6 years agoCleveland Indians first baseman Edwin Encarnacion (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Kansas City Royals. The Indians are giving the veteran slugger a rare rest day with the playoffs on the horizon. Josh Donaldson will DH and bat cleanup versus righty Glenn Sparkman. Donaldson is not hitting overly well this season, but Sparkman isn't a reliable starter. However, DFS players may not want to pay the price of Donaldson on Thursday when there are likely cheaper options that are just as productive.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
