4 years agoChicago White Sox designated hitter Edwin Encarnacion (shoulder) will be absent from Wednesday’s lineup. Encarnacion exited Tuesday’s contest with left shoulder soreness. Encarnacion has only six hits in 30 at-bats for the season and a shoulder injury is unlikely to help. Catcher Yasmani Grandal will be the designated hitter on Wednesday and James McCann will be behind the plate and seventh versus Adrian Houser and the Brewers. McCann has swung well in his starts and worth a consideration in DFS Wednesday. Encarnacion remains day-to-day.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
