Edwin Rios Departs Sunday’s Contest Early With Injury
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first/third baseman Edwin Rios departed Sunday’s game against the Angels due to a tight left hamstring. Rios was starting in place of Justin Turner, who had the day off, but figures to reclaim his spot at the hot corner Monday. By socking a double in his lone at-bat Sunday, Rios raised his OPS to 1.012 across his first 29 ABs. His path to everyday playing time is extremely crowded with the Dodgers, making him exclusively a DFS option moving forward.
