2 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop prospect Eguy Rosario went 3-for-4 with a three-run home run in Saturday's contest for Triple-A El Paso. It was his second homer in as many games. Rosario has been putting together a strong season and the Padres fifth ranked prospect is now hitting .280 with 16 homers, 62 RBI and 16 stolen bases. Rosario, 22, is having a breakout season for El Paso, but there hasn't been room for him at the big-league level. The Padres always seem to be involved in trade rumors and Rosario is sure to catch the eye of fellow executives across the league. If Rosario were to stay in the Padres system, he is unlikely to make an impact in redraft leagues in 2022. If he were dealt, he could be an intriguing stash option in redraft leagues, but his best value remains in dynasty leagues.
