Eli Manning Struggles Against Philly
6 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Eli Manning was ineffective against the defending champs on Thursday. Manning completed only 24 of his 43 passes for 281 yards with most of those yards coming off of dump passes to rooking running back Saquon Barkley, who finished with nine receptions for 99 yards as a receiver. He was rattled most of the game, getting intense pressure from the Philadelphia defense that resulted in four sacks on the night and in addition to an interception. With Manning having issues with accuracy and trusting his blockers, he has a lot of work to do before he is considered relevant from a fantasy perspective. The Giants will have some time to figure things out as they won't suit up again until next Monday night against the Falcons.
