3 years agoColorado Rockies catcher Elias Diaz went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a 6-4 loss to the D-Backs on Wednesday. Diaz finally put the Rockies on the board in the top of the seventh inning with a solo home run. He took Matt Peacock deep to left field to get the score to 3-1. The 30-year-old has been on a tear over the last 15 games, swatting six home runs while slugging .750. On the year, he has a .205/.280/.384 with seven home runs and 17 RBI over 49 games. He's thoroughly outplayed Dom Nunez over the last month and will look to finish the first half of the season on a high note.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
