6 years agoVancouver Canucks center Elias Pettersson scored with eight seconds remaining in the third period, but unfortunately, it was not enough as his team fell 3-2 to the Washington Capitals. The dynamic rookie has been a revelation for fantasy owners and Canucks fans alike. Pettersson has managed 24 goals and 23 assists through 43 games this year. While his shooting percentage is abnormally high at 27.6 percent, he is scoring at a 90-point pace had he been able to suit up for all 82 games this season. At just 20-years-old, the sky is the limit for the Swedish pivot. Markus Granlund also scored in the defeat.
