Elias Pettersson Has Two-Point Debut
6 years agoVancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson scored a goal and an assist with one shot on net in the 5-2 win over the Calgary Flames. Pettersson made his presence known, as he scored on his first and only shot so far in the NHL. While his time on ice was only 9:46 due to the Canucks lack of discipline tonight, he also logged 1:19 on the power play, which is tied for the most on the team for the day. His linemates, Loui Eriksson and Nikolay Goldobin also collected two points each in the victory. He looks to be an option heavily used in favorable offensive situations and will look to continue off his hot NHL debut on Saturday, against the Flames again. He should be owned in all 10 team and deeper formats.
