Elias Pettersson Nets Two Points Against Kings
6 years agoVancouver Canucks center Elias Pettersson scored a goal and added an assist during a 4-3 shootout win over the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night. Pettersson has been a revelation for the Canucks in his rookie season. The slick Swedish pivot has 26 goals, 27 assists, 15 power-play points, and a plus-14 rating through 48 games. Had injuries not robbed him of 11 games, his totals would be even higher. Pettersson looks like he will be a franchise centerman for years to come. He is already a leader in the Canucks' impressive young core and will only get better with age. Managers that own him in keeper leagues should be salivating as the sky seems to be the limit for the 20-year-old.
