2 years agoThe Miami Marlins placed right-hander Elieser Hernandez on the injured list on Thursday, and no reason has been listed, so it's assumed he's going on the COVID-19 injured list. In a corresponding move, right-hander Tommy Nance has been recalled from Triple-A Jacksonville. Hernandez has made 14 appearances (nine starts) for the Fish in 2022 and hasn't fared all that well, going 2-5 with a 6.11 ERA and 1.39 WHIP while striking out 52 and walking 18 in 53 innings pitched. He shouldn't be rostered in fantasy leagues. Nance, 31, has a 6.14 ERA, 1.68 WHIP, 30 strikeouts and 12 walks in 22 relief innings for the Marlins this year in just his second season in the majors.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
