4 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Elieser Hernandez (biceps) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment with the Triple-A Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp on Tuesday. Hernandez has not pitched since he was forced to leave his first start of the season with a biceps injury. He's been throwing for a few weeks now and does not seem to have suffered any setbacks. He'll likely need two rehab starts before rejoining the Marlins rotation, but he's worth a spot in most mixed league pitching rotations and could be available on some waiver wires.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
