3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers rookie running back Elijah Mitchell (knee) was on the injury report earlier in the week but won't carry an injury designation into the Week 18 regular season finale against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Mitchell was rested on Wednesday but practiced the last two days and is good to go in a must-win game against the Rams. In the 23-year-old's return from a three-week absence last weekend, he had 23 touches for 130 scrimmage yards and a receiving touchdown, so he should be the workhorse back once again for San Francisco. In the first meeting against LA in Week 10, Mitchell had a season-high-tying 27 carries for 91 yards. The Rams defense has only surrendered 101.2 rushing yards per game (sixth-fewest), but Mitchell's volume alone should give him RB1 upside this weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
