3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Elijah Mitchell (shoulder) didn't practice Thursday. He sustained a shoulder injury in Week 2's win over the Philadelphia Eagles, which turned out to be what head coach Kyle Shanahan said was a little worse than a stinger. Mitchell logged 17 carries for 42 yards and caught both of his targets for 11 yards in last Sunday's win. The 23-year-old has been unable to practice this week and is questionable for Sunday Night Football against the Green Bay Packers. "He has the most outside chance," said Shanahan. "Hopefully, he'll get out there tomorrow, but we're waiting for the pain to go away. We'll take that up to Sunday if we have to." Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the situation and check Friday's injury report. Trey Sermon (concussion) and Trenton Cannon would see an uptick in carries if Mitchell cannot suit up.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
