Elijah Moore Remains On IR, Ruled Out For Week 18
3 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Elijah Moore (quadriceps) has seen his rookie campaign come to a close, as head coach Robert Saleh closed the door on a potential Week 18 return Friday. Moore had been working with trainers earlier in the week in hopes of suiting up for the first time since Week 13, but he will remain on injured reserve when the Jets take on the Bills. Moore finished with a flurry, hauling in touchdown passes in four of his last five games; he accumulated 43 catches for 538 yards and five touchdowns in just 11 contests. New York will be shorthanded out wide with Braxton Berrios (quadriceps) highly unlikely to take the field, leaving Jamison Crowder and Keelan Cole as Zach Wilson's top passing game options against a top-tier Bills defensive unit.
