Eloy Jimenez Crushes Game Winning Home Run
3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in his second game of the season versus the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday. Jimenez crushed what turned out to be the game winning hit against Kyle Zimmer in the top of the eighth inning. Jimenez should be a huge power asset for managers the rest of the season and those wise enough to stash him on their injured list at the beginning of the season should be rewarded the rest of the way. Manager Tony La Russa said after the game that Jimenez will be the designated hitter on Wednesday. Regardless of his position, Jimenez is one of the best young power hitters in the game and should rostered in all formats.
