5 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (elbow) is flying back to Chicago and is expected to wind up on the injured list with right elbow soreness. The outfielder left Tuesday’s contest after colliding with Charlie Tilson on a play in the outfield. Jimenez already missed three weeks earlier in the season with a high right ankle sprain, but has lived up to the hype when he has been on the field and owns a .244 batting average with 17 home runs and 39 RBI. Ryan Cordell replaced Jimenez and could see more at-bats with Jimenez sidelined. Cordell can be avoided outside of DFS for now.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
