Eloy Jimenez Leaves Game Early Thursday
2 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (leg) left Thursday's game early against the Kansas City Royals with right leg soreness. The White Sox are calling him day-to-day. Jimenez continues to deal with right leg issues, but hopefully he won't be out for long. Before leaving in the seventh inning, Jimenez went 0-for-3 with a strikeout while serving as the designated hitter. Josh Harrison replaced him in the contest. The 25-year-old only has 189 at-bats over the course of the 2022 season due to different ailments along the way, but he entered Thursday's action with a strong .307/.376/.466 slash line with an .841 OPS, eight home runs, 30 RBI and 22 runs scored in 55 games. Jimenez has plenty of tools, but he's played in over 100 games in just one of his four MLB campaigns.
