Eloy Jimenez Not Playing Against Orioles
2 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (elbow) is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Baltimore Orioles. Jimenez was hit by a 100 mph fastball on Wednesday, but thankfully X-rays were negative and he's just dealing with a bruise. Fantasy managers should consider the 25-year-old slugger day-to-day. AJ Pollock is in left field and is batting leadoff on Wednesday, while Jose Abreu is serving as the designated hitter and batting cleanup against Orioles right-hander Spencer Watkins. When Jimenez returns to the lineup, he'll be a must-start in fantasy. He only has 170 at-bats on the year due to injuries, but he's hitting a strong .306/.372/.465 with an .836 OPS, seven home runs, 28 RBI and 19 runs scored when he's been on the field.
