Eloy Jimenez Not Starting On Thursday
3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (groin) isn't in the team's lineup on Thursday as they take on the Kansas City Royals and right-handed starter Carlos Hernandez. Jimenez previously exited Wednesday's contest due to groin tightness and won't start against Kansas City. The White Sox will go with Adam Engel in left field in place of Jimenez. Engel is batting second. On the season, the 29-year-old is hitting .261 with a .342 on-base percentage, five home runs, and three stolen bases in 79 plate appearances. He could be worth a look as a streaming option in deeper leagues.
