7 years agoChicago White Sox top prospect Eloy Jimenez has been optioned to Double-A Birmingham. Jimenez was never expected to make the Opening Day roster, but it’s a bit of a surprise that the club will start him at Double-A over Triple-A. Jimenez remains one of the best prospects in the game and remains a strong stash, as it is likely he forces his way up to the big leagues at some point in 2018.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
