Eloy Jimenez Plays In Extended Spring Training Game
7 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder and top prospect Eloy Jimenez (pectoral) went 0-for-4 in an extended Spring Training game Monday. Jimenez has begun the year in extended Spring Training with a pectoral injury, but when he is ready, Jimenez will start the season in Double-A Birmingham. The White Sox plan to keep Jimenez in extended Spring Training until he can play without any restrictions. He remains one of the most talented prospects in the game and should force his way into the big leagues this year if he can remain healthy. He remains a strong stash in all leagues.
