Eloy Jimenez Sidelined For Third Straight Contest
3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (groin) will be sidelined for his third consecutive game on Saturday versus the Cleveland Indians. Jimenez exited Wednesday's contest due to groin tightness and has not played since. Jimenez remains day-to-day and the White Sox have every reason to be cautious with their talented outfielder after he missed the entire season with a torn pectoral muscle. The slugger was activated on Monday and has gone 2-for-11 with a home run and three RBI in the two games he has played since his return on Monday. Goodwin will bat seventh versus Triston McKenzie this evening. Goodwin has struggled offensively and can be avoided in DFS this evening.
