Eloy Jimenez Slowed Down By Sore Knee
7 years agoChicago White Sox top prospect Eloy Jimenez (knee) will sit out Tuesday’s contest with a sore knee. Manager Rick Renteria revealed Monday they’re being cautious with the top prospect because of a sore left knee the right fielder incurred during a practice and aggravated during the game. Renteria mentioned that it is not “serious.” It’s good news that his knee doesn’t appear to be seriously hurt and it makes all the sense in the world to take it slow. Jimenez is a big part of the White Sox's future and is one of the top prospects in all of baseball. He should already be owned in dynasty and keeper leagues, while he makes a good stash in mixed leagues for 2018. He will start the season in Triple-A but should force his way to the big leagues at some point in 2018.
