Eloy Jimenez Will Make Season Debut On Monday
3 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (pectoral) will make his season debut on Monday against the Royals, according to Jesse Rogers of ESPN. Jimenez has been out since suffering a torn pectoral muscle during Spring Training, and it was originally feared that it could be a season-ending injury. When Jimenez takes the field on Monday he will have surpassed even the most optimistic of predictions for his return. He's been one of the better power hitting outfielders since making his debut in 2019, as he owns a career .276/.321/.527 with 45 home runs, 120 RBI and 95 runs scored. Jimenez is still available in 24 percent of leagues, so if he's on the waiver wire in your league you should make sure scoop him up now.
